In December, 1948, Gladys McGaughey was severely injured when Frank Mc-Gaughey's automobile in which she was riding was struck by a truck driven by Ellis Ford. The complaint sought $70,000 to compensate severe personal injuries and other losses. From a judgment for $13,600 the defendants have appealed.
