JANVIER, Judge.

This suit has as its object the return to plaintiff of $500, paid by him to the defendants for the right to trap wild furbearing animals on certain land described in a written lease. The term of the lease was from November 20th, 1946, through March 31st, 1949. In addition to the cash paid,—$500—plaintiff agreed to pay over to the defendants a designated proportion of the proceeds of the trapping operations.
