Olof Falkenstrom was employed by Preston Mill Company, a corporation, as a brakeman and loader in transporting logs to the mill, from August, 1906, until April 25, 1928. On the date last mentioned, while in the performance of his duties, he was struck across his face by a steel cable one-half inch in thickness.
