On February 8, 1951, a motion was filed by Gordon Allen Shepherd in the District Court for the District of Nebraska asking leave to withdraw his plea of guilty theretofore entered in that court, and to set aside the sentence and judgment imposed upon that plea by that court. His plea of guilty had been entered on April 9, 1945, and on the following day, April 10, 1945, he had been sentenced on two counts of the indictment. On the first count...
