This is an appeal from a judgment following conviction of the crime of escape as denounced by section 4532 of the Penal Code. On April 26, 1948, there was filed in the Justice's Court of Township No. 6, County of Shasta, a complaint charging defendant with driving a vehicle in violation of the provisions of section 510 of the Vehicle Code and warrant thereupon was issued.
