This suit was instituted in a district court of Dallas County by the appellees, E. C. Bagsby, Eugene Robinson and Edward Radford, all Negroes and patrons of the public schools of the appellant, Pleasant Grove Independent School District of Dallas County. Appellees alleged they were taxpayers in the school district; that for several years prior to 1948 the trustees of the school district provided and maintained an elementary school for Negro children...
