During the years 1941 and 1942 Atlantic City, New Jersey, owned Convention Hall situated on the Boardwalk. The City rented Convention Hall to organizations wishing to use it. In the summer of 1941 Ice-Capades, Inc. had occupied the main hall of Convention Hall under a short-term lease from the City.
