This is an action at law to recover brokerage commissions which Frank V. Atkinson, the plaintiff below, claimed he had earned in effecting a sale of certain real property owned by Mrs. Justine L. Nusbaum, one of the defendants. The plaintiff alleged that he had been employed to make the sale by V. H. Nusbaum, the husband of the owner of the property, and by S. L. Nusbaum & Company, Inc., a corporation, of which V. H. Nusbaum is the president...
