This case comes to us on a clerk's transcript. Defendant pleaded not guilty to an indictment charging him with the crime of robbery with aggravation as defined in sections 711.1 and 711.2 of the 1946 Code of Iowa, I.C.A. Upon trial to a jury he was found guilty and judgment was entered on said verdict by the court and he was sentenced to be imprisoned in the State Penitentiary at Fort Madison, Iowa, for an indeterminate period of time not exceeding Twenty...
