HOLMES, Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from the dismissal of a suit brought by the plaintiffs under the Federal Tort Claims Act1 for negligence of the employees of an army hospital in administering a harmful substance, instead of the prescribed spinal anaesthetic, to a master sergeant's wife who had been admitted to the maternity section of the hospital.
