This is a habeas corpus proceeding instituted in the United States Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma by James J. Plaine, an inmate of the state penitentiary at McAlester, Oklahoma, against C. P. Burford, Warden, to obtain his discharge from further confinement in that institution.
