This controversy arose out of claims by each of two branches of a colored Baptist church, involving the title to a church house and the described lot on which it stands in the City of Fort Worth.

Appellee Mount Calvary Baptist Church, an unincorporated religious association, sued appellant Friendship Baptist District Association, a corporation, in trespass to try title for title and possession of the property. Appellant replied with not guilty...
