Under the pleadings and the evidence, the controlling question involved is whether the suit was brought within the statute of limitations. The note sued on was under seal. Actions upon bonds or other instruments under seal shall be brought within 20 years after the right of action shall have accrued. Code § 3-703. A promissory note under seal is within the provisions of this statute.
