These two cases were consolidated for trial in the district court for condemnation proceedings had by the metropolitan city of Omaha in taking and appropriating for public use certain lands of the plaintiffs for municipal airport purposes. Trial was had to a jury resulting in a verdict in favor of the plaintiffs and fixing an award in the amount of $6,500.
