This is an action against the sheriff of Rutland County for the escape of a prisoner confined in the Rutland County Jail upon a close jail execution issued pursuant to V.S.1947, § 2246. Trial was by court; findings of fact were filed, and judgment for the plaintiff entered in the sum of $500 and costs. Both parties filed bills of exceptions.
