The grand jury of Knox County returned an indictment against Calloway Gambrell and Ford Brown charging them with the crime of rape. On their trial they were found guilty of detaining a woman against her will, a crime denounced by KRS 435.110, and the punishment of each was fixed at confinement in the penitentiary for a term of two years.
