This matter comes before the court on an appeal by certain citizens and taxpayers from the report of the county controller. This report, to which exceptions have been filed, covers a period dating from January 7, 1946, to January 6, 1947. The apparent delay in the disposition of the case on the merits is due to a series of preliminary objections filed by the respondents, an appeal to the Supreme Court, the withdrawal of some of the parties...
