The complaint attacked herein as insufficient in law sounds in deceit. It is alleged that in order to induce the plaintiff to accept a proposed property settlement, ancillary to a contemplated divorce, the defendant fraudulently misrepresented his net worth. As a result of the misrepresentations the plaintiff was induced to accept $20,000 in full satisfaction of all obligations that the defendant owed her as her husband. She claims to have...
