This is an action of contract under the common counts to recover the asked price of certain kitchen cabinets ordered by the defendant of the plaintiff. The defendant filed an answer which included a general denial; an allegation that no contract was ever entered into between the parties for the purchase and sale of the cabinets as no price for the same was ever agreed upon; a pleading of the statute of frauds.
