This suit was brought by appellee against appellant to recover damages in the sum of $2950 allegedly caused by appellant's negligence in permitting crude oil to escape from its pipe lines located on appellee's farm contaminating his stock-water causing sickness and death of appellee's cattle and destruction of the fertility of his soil as the result of said leakage.
