Spires, Margaret Carpenter and Mamie Lusk, who were judges and clerks at the primary election held on April 13, 1948, in St. Clair County, appealed to the Appellate Court, Fourth District, from an order of the county court of St. Clair County finding them guilty of contempt and imposing jail sentences...
