This is an appeal from the allowance of the amended fifth account of Delia F. Smith, trustee under the will of her husband, James F. Smith, late of New Bedford.

The testator died on August 12, 1922, leaving his wife and two minor daughters. The residue of his estate was left in trust to his widow, to whom were given the income and the right to apply any part of the principal as she might deem necessary...
