Perren, sued appellee, Baker Hotel of Dallas, Inc., a corporation, under the Declaratory Judgments Act, Vernon's Ann.Civ.St. art. 2524-1, to establish the validity of a verbal contract of lease covering a suite of seven rooms in appellee's hotel for the lifetime of his wife, or during the joint lives of himself and his wife, at a rental of $500.00 per month.
