OPINION BY HIRT, J., March 14, 1950:

The plaintiff sued for total disability benefits on two insurance policies identical in form issued by the defendant. Each policy contained a provision for the payment of monthly disability benefits in an amount stated in the contract, "Upon due proof that . . . the Insured has become wholly disabled by bodily injuries or disease and will be continuously and wholly prevented thereby for life from engaging in any occupation or employment...
