This cause originated in the Probate Court of the City of St. Louis where on September 13, 1946, Constantions Polizoe (since deceased) filed a claim against his deceased wife's estate for the sum of $5,353.57, plus interest based upon the alleged payment by him of certain notes to the Home Owners Loan Corporation to pay off a loan hereinafter referred to as H.
