The defendant, Dolly Laura Suber, was charged in the district court of Oklahoma county with the murder of one Hazel Mae Moore on February 15, 1948, by allegedly stabbing the deceased in the left breast with a knife; was tried, convicted of manslaughter in the first degree, and sentenced to serve a term of twenty-five (25) years imprisonment in the State Penitentiary, and has appealed.
