The defendant, Maudine Virginia Riddle, was jointly charged with her brother, Elbert Emery Riddle, by an information filed in the district court of Comanche county with the crime of murder of one Robert W. Henry on July 13, 1949. Pursuant to the verdict of the jury the defendant and her brother were each sentenced to serve a term of life imprisonment in the State Penitentiary, from which sentence the defendant alone has appealed.
