This case had its genesis in Schmeller v. City of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., 38 So.2d 36, wherein we affirmed a decree of the Circuit Court validating a bond issue to enable the City of Fort Lauderdale (1) to acquire certain ocean front property from the United States, better known as Coast Guard Base No. 6. (2) Construct a municipal yacht basin with other recreational facilities on said property. (3) Authorize the city to lease the facilities so constructed...
