In 1934 defendant issued the $500 life insurance policy here involved to Lyle Isgrig, of Marshalltown, Iowa. Lena J. Isgrig, wife of Lyle, was named beneficiary. They were divorced in 1939. Their daughter Beverly who was then four years old has since lived with Lena. In 1939, after the divorce, Lyle changed the beneficiary in the insurance policy to his brother, plaintiff Lester W. Isgrig who agreed to hold the proceeds of the policy in trust for...
