Sherman Lawrence, forty-four years of age, was injured on October 8, 1947, when an automobile in which he was riding as a passenger collided with a bus belonging to the defendant, the Kansas Power and Light Co., at the intersection of Sumner street and Pennsylvania avenue in the city of Topeka. At the time of the collision the bus was being driven by the defendant, H.H. Bruner, an employee of the company...
