On the evening of November 18, 1947, at about 10 o'clock, there was a collision between two automobiles near the intersection of Hibernia Avenue and Vermillion Street, in New Orleans. One of the cars was owned and driven by Vincent Graffagnini and occupied by himself and his wife. The other car was owned and driven by Preston Martin, and with him in the car was William Lee.
