It is not disputed that the defendant was manager of a water-softening company which was owned and operated by his father; that he, personally, installed four softeners; that by statutory definition, connecting water softeners with the water-supply system is plumbing (sec. 145.01 (1) (c), Stats.); that neither the defendant nor his father were licensed master plumbers.
