This is an action by the plaintiffs to recover actual and punitive damages in the sum of $30,000.00 from the defendants as joint tort-feasors, and was commenced on or about June 29, 1949. Each of the defendants demurred to the complaint on grounds hereinafter stated, and these demurrers came before me on October 21, 1949, while I was presiding over a special term of the Court of Common Pleas for Charleston...
