Watson Faulkner died March 25, 1943, the owner of certain business property in Champaign, Illinois. The fourth clause of his will devised the property as follows:

"... to my daughter, May D. Crosby, and my son Fay Edward Faulkner, share and share alike, subject, however, to the right to said May D. Crosby to manage, operate, rent and control said...
