This is an appeal from a conviction of first degree murder and a sentence of life imprisonment in the state penitentiary. Briefly, the facts are as follows: Medardo Cantu and his wife drove defendant's daughter, Julia, and one Basilio Aquero to New Mexico to be married, and all returned to Ulysses the same day.
