These are actions for the recovery of unpaid wages brought under section 16(b) of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, 29 U.S.C.A. § 216(b). The plaintiffs were variously employed by the defendant in the course of certain dredging operations it performed in Puerto Rico during the period from September of 1939 to November of 1943. These dredging operations comprised six separate projects, five in San Juan Bay and one in Arecibo harbor...
