This action was brought to recover damages for the wrongful death of A.B. Allen, a colored farmer and minister, who died as a result of his car being struck by one of appellant's trains on March 25, 1947. Upon trial of the cause before Honorable W.H. Grimball and a jury, a verdict was rendered for plaintiff-respondent-appellant for $5,000.00. Timely motions were made for a directed verdict and for judgment non obstante...
