Venna Darlene Behm died in childbirth on February 18, 1947, leaving a husband and two infant daughters surviving her. She was the wife of respondent Edward C. Behm and the daughter of appellant Alma Gee. While appellant believed the attending doctor was liable for his negligent treatment of deceased, the respondent apparently concluded there was little chance of recovering from the doctor or else he did...
