Appellee Chapman brought this action to recover a $1,000 down payment which he had made to appellants on an oral contract for the purchase of a farm and equipment for a total price of $16,500.1 Appellants gave testimony tending to show that they were at all times willing to convey the land to appellee had he produced "cash on the barrelhead" for payment of the balance agreed upon, which they say appellee never offered...
