Joseph Whittlesey Noble died in the State of New York on July 2, 1949, leaving no issue. His will provides for payment of the income on substantially the whole estate to his widow, Ethel Darby Noble, for life, with remainder payable at her death to the Carlisle Hospital.

It is admitted by all of the parties interested in these proceedings that decedent was not a resident of Pennsylvania...
