Defendant Freeman appeals from a judgment against him on his cross-complaint for money allegedly due under a written contract, in letter form, with plaintiff Columbia, a retail store. The trial court determined that the employe of Columbia who signed the contract "did not have authority, express, implied or ostensible, to sign on behalf of Columbia ... and there was no ratification by Columbia of said letter." It is Freeman's position that the evidence...
