The question for decision on this appeal is whether an adopted child takes under a will devising property to the heirs at law of her foster brother.

Alfred von Nyvenheim, of the city of Norfolk, died on the 9th day of June, 1924, leaving a will which was dated March 26, 1914, and which was duly probated. By it he directed that his property be sold and, after some specific bequests, he gave to his wife the income from the balance during her...
