On April 18, 1937, petitioner was convicted on his plea of guilty in a Court of Special Sessions, held by a Justice of the Peace, of disorderly conduct, the act being, according to the certificate of conviction, that he had attempted to have sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of twelve years.
