George N. Stewart and Elizabeth M. Stewart, husband and wife, obtained a verdict and judgment for $300 against Esso Standard Oil Company. It was awarded for damage caused to the furniture, walls and interior of thier home on December 16, 1947, by an excessive and injurious accumulation of smoke from the hot water oil burner or furnace.
