Claimant was injured on November 12, 1936. She elected to bring a third-party action on October 14, 1937. The third-party action was settled, with approval, on April 17, 1939. The award in question was made on May 2, 1949. Appellants contend that subdivision (c) of section 13 of the Workmen's Compensation Law should be applied as it existed at the time of the accident and that the employer's liability for "medical treatment" ceased upon notice of election to sue a third party...
