On March 8, 1950, a jury in the Police Court of the City of Troy found the defendant guilty of violating subdivision 5-a of section 70 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. After the imposition of a sentence of thirty days in the Rensselaer County Jail the defendant was admitted to bail pending appeal.
