The parties have stipulated to the material facts. In July, 1947, a house in Minneapolis was rented under a lease running from September 1, 1947, to September 1, 1948, for a rental price of $100 per month. Under the lease, the tenant was granted an option to renew the lease for two one-year periods. The tenant exercised the option right, and the lease has been extended to, and is in force until, September 1, 1950. Defendants now own that house...
