Plaintiff Martha Keiser Hertz is one of the 4 daughters of Dorathea Keiser. Plaintiff Dorothy L. Hertz is the daughter of Martha. Both are beneficiaries under Dorathea's will, which was admitted to probate in 1928. A part of her estate consisted of the "north 1/2 of the S 1/4 of the SE 1/4, section 31, T. 1 N., R. 12 E., Macomb county, containing 20 acres, more or less."
