Appellee, Silas G. Hall, a pedestrian, was struck by a car driven by appellant, Joe Hillman, while crossing 13th Street at the intersection of 13th and Central Avenue, Ashland. He suffered severe injuries. He instituted this action seeking to recover $5,000 personal injuries, medical and hospital bills in the sum of $300, and loss of income in the sum of $663.35.
