Appellant, Jessie L. Humphreys, filed this action in the District Court of Canadian County, Oklahoma, against the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Company for damages for personal injury suffered by her while riding on one of defendant's trains. The case was removed to the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma where it was tried to a jury. A verdict was returned for plaintiff and judgment was entered thereon...
